I assume it's at the month of your UY. Correct?
Anyway to pay dues on a per month basis?

Thanks!

Annual Dues are based on calendar year. Statements are sent out after the annual condo meeting in December. They are due on 1/15 and considered late if paid after 2/14.

If you have a checking account at a US based financial institution, you can set it up so your dues are drafted monthly (interest free). Member Accounting can give you the information necessary to setup monthly payments.

If you pay by Disney visa there is no additional fee and you get the 2% rewards back.
The 2% is only with the Disney Premier Visa which has a $49 annual fee. The Disney Rewards Visa (no annual fee) only gets 1% rewards.

Great info folks! THanks! I actually applied for the no fee card yesterday. Heck if they're gonna give me a $200 gift card, why not?
Really glad to hear that about the monthly fee's. It will basically be like going for "free" every year since I don't have to write a check. LOL!

We have the dues withdrawn from our account every month. In January it's always on the 15th of the month, but for other months you can set it up to be that day or the 1st. Sure we could pay it all up front and get a CC bonus, but that's not what I want to do right now. Good to have options.

skates, making sure, you know that the dues will be more than $200 a year and the GC is only given once, right? Your last comment worried me, no doubt unnecessarily, but wanted to make sure.

Thank you! You were very helpful in helping me decide to move forward with DVC when we were in the looking phase. Im aware of the one time GC. It will actually be used as a back up card only once we get the GC. I put everything on a Discover escape card. 2% back on everything. I would like to have Mickey on my back up card however.

You can get 5% off Disney gift cards at target.

Until the end of the month, discover cash back is giving 5% cash back off home improvement store purchases. Limit $1500. Leows has Disney gift cards.

You can use these gift cards towards your annual maintenance although it's a little but of a pain.

5% off $2200 is worth it for me ;)

With a little bit of legwork you can beat either of those especially if you have a small contract. For example, my dues are about $350 a year on 60 OKW points. In Nov, Dec, and Jan. I buy Disney gift cards from a local grocery store when they offer 4X fuel points. $100 in Gift Cards give me $.40 off 35 gallons of fuel or $14 off of fuel I was going to buy anyways. A few times I've been lucky and been able to combine that with 5% cash back on Groceries at one of the stores.
