Announcement??

My parents were in DL yesterday and were told by a CM that there's going to be an announcement on March 10, and even they (the CM's) didn't know what is was. We're going next week and our first day in the parks will be the 10th. So I'm really curious. Anyone have any idea what it might be, or care to take a guess?

The only thing I have heard of is the "Are you 23" campaign. It has been kept a secret so far (with lots of speculation as to what it is) and will be announced March 10th. HTH!

It is the Are You 23 announcement. From online buzz, it seems to be some sort of fan club.

OOH OOH OOH!!! I didnt know anything about this. I never heard of it before, but now I am really excited. I cant wait to find out what it is all about. I took that link there and signed my name up to be one of the first to hear about it.

Yep, you guys are right. It is the Are you 23...whatever that is. I guess I could have just googled it first to find out. But I always come here first...and now more dissers will know about it. I hadn't heard anything until my parents told me. I didn't sign up for the e-mail though, since I will be in DL on March 10th, I will find out there.

I always hoped Disney would bring back the Official Disneyana Conventions...maybe this is the new form of the old conventions...if you have never heard of the Disneyana Conventions 1992/2002 check this out:

Interesting..and I kinda hate pins, but they are pretty cool. I hope it isn't some pin club! If it's like a fan club..I'm in!

I can't imagine it would be pin-only since there are so many different pin events. It seems like there is a large segment of collectors who either don't do pins or also collect other things that are left out.
