Announcement: Birthday Calendar disabled

Just wanted to let everyone know the birthday caledar has been disabled for the past 2 days and is still disabled. This is how we post the daily birthdays.
We have just been posting general birthday wishes but I dont want anyone to have their feelings hurt because they didnt get a personal one. We really enjoy posting the individual birthdays and hope the calendar is up and running again soon.

Thanks Deena, for all your hard work! I was not bothered in the least for not getting a "personal" birthday greeting two days ago. After all, posting birthday wishes is an extra thing, certainly not a requirement. So, on behalf of all of us DISers, thanks for caring enough to post the birthdays in the first place.

Do you know if the calendar is gone for good or just "temporarily" disabled?

cinmell--I did send a pm to Pete when it first went down to find out what was wrong but I never heard anything back.
Hopefully it will be up and running again soon.
