Anniversary trip

Advice for fun things to do with my husband for our 15th anniversary in august? We usually go with our 3 kids and everything is focused on them. What would be good for the two of us that I may not have thought of (since I plan around the kids)? Experiences, restaurants, rides, etc? Thanks!

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at DW. We booked several nice dinners including Victoria & Alberts. If that's a bit too pricey, you may consider Narcoossee or Artist Point. We also booked a tour based on our favorite Disney interests. We scheduled time for rest, hot tub/pool time, and relaxation while enjoying our resort. While we did visit the parks, we went at a much more leisurely pace. We concentrated on good conversation and quality time. All of these worked well together to make a memorable trip.

You will have a blast. My wife and I have gone to WDW for our anniversary twice and like you without our 3 kids. It is a total different experience with out the kids. There is no running from ride to ride it's just more relaxed. You can slow down and experience the atmosphere. Take in shows that your kids would never go see and just enjoy each other. Have a great time.

It depends on what you are into:
sports: golf, mini-golf, fishing, marathon, bowling, ESPN Club, WWS/ESPN Zone, etc
shopping: DTD, area outlet malls, large scale malls
drinking: Jellyrolls, Raglan Road, monorail tour of resorts, walking tour of resorts in the Boardwalk area
movies: DTD 24 screen theater some with meals served by waiters
night clubbing: Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance, Raglan Road, Citywalk
resort tours: monorail tour of resorts, Boardwalk around the lake tour of resorts, horse drawn tour of FWC, AKL/AKV
offsite: Gaylord Palms Resort, Citywalk, swamp tour
eating: Formal GF 5* Chef's Table @ V&As
DW and I have done DCLs for our 15, 20, and 25th anniversary.
