Anniversary Trip Questions

We just bought APs for our family during our Halloween Trip. Since we have APs now I decided I wanted to surprise my wife and go on a trip without our kids to celebrate our Anniversary in January. Problem is we have only ever planned trips while considering the kids being with us...

Any tips or hints on Hotels that may be a little nicer that don't break the bank and/or off site hotels that offer discounts to AP holders?

Any other Anniversary Trip ideas or things to consider? (I will probably be booking a PS at the Blue Bayou or somewhere). Other ideas would be nice though!

DH and I just returned from our anniversary trip a few weeks ago. I have my trip report link in my signature. We did Blue Bayou, the segway tour, Fantasmic dessert seating and rode the Lilly Belle.

DH and I just celebrated 20 years this summer at DLR by ourselves. We stayed a week and had a great time. We stayed at Embassy Suites South about a mile away. We loved it because it was a nice big suite and a very nice free breakfast every morning. For our dinner we ate at Steakhouse 55. Very nice and very good! Highly recommend! Don't forget to pick up your anniversary buttons at city hall.

We're heading back in Jan for our anniversary too.

The only offsite hotel that offers AP rates is HOJOs (20% off). F! will probably be down since they are supposed to drain ROA in January some time.
