Am I crazy for actually thinking about booking CRT for dinner?

We are doing the Sunrise Safari in the AM and spending a few hours in the AK...Not sure what to do for dinner this time around...We were going to the HDD but because of scheduling that will have to be on another night...So we have the night of our anniversary free and not sure what we want to do...DH is a very picky eater and so is one DS...

We have never eaten in the castle and my boys are not into the princess thing in any way, shape or form...But they do the love the beauty of the outside of the castle...Reviews on the food is so mixed....It sounds like a nice way to spend this special day but maybe there is something better I am just not thinking of.

Advice please.

Our first time at CRT was for dinner and we all really enjoyed it! The only princess at dinner is Cindy and she's in the foyer for pictures and meet 'n greet. The little show that the FGM puts on with 2 mice is really cute and she'll acknowledge your anniversary if you let them know when you make the ADR. We thought the food was really good! My mom and DH had the prime rib which was good (not great) prime rib, sides were good, appies were very good, my DDs had fish and buttered pasta (little ones under 3 are offered free buttered pasta). The girls received wands and your boys will recieve swords. It's a good time and not too girly at night without all the princesses walking around!
I highly recommend a meal at CRT, we've gone twice now and have enjoyed it both times!

Don't know when your trip is, but there is an announcement out from Disney that CRT will change as of sometime in February 2010. It will be called "Fairytale Dining" and apparently will feature walkaround princesses at all three meals (except for Cinderella, who will be available for a photo op before the meal). So if you are looking at dinner past February, it may be different from the above-described meal with the dancing mice and the Fairy Godmother. The Disney announcement was sort of vague.
