Anniversary magic?

Wasn't sure quite where to post this question...


DH and I will be married 20 years next June. We were planning a trip to Jamaica, but have decided to surprise the kids with Disney. The plan is to give them trip brochures for the sunny Caribbean at Christmas, telling them we have decided to take them on our anniversary trip. But we are going to book a last minute deal so we can afford it. So no firm destination yet. If I can keep my big mouth shut, we won't spring the mouse on them until we get up to leave!

That said, I plan to let my travel agent know it is our anniversary trip. Are there any special things we can do/request for an anniversary? Not necessarily free perks (as nice as that would be) but even things we should do, places to eat, special requests we could upgrade for?

Bumping this up a bit as I would be interested in this sort of info too. My hubby and I are taking our 1st Trip to Disney ever in October 2014, we will celebrate our 27th Anniversary the day after we arrive. We have opted to stay in a Value Resort, hopefully POP because I cant see spending so much on just a place to sleep.

We really did not get to do anything for our 25th Anniversary so this will sort of be a late celebration of that, I suppose. I have been searching using the Key Words "Romantic Things to do at Disney World" and have found some neat things.

We are celebrating our 27th anniversary when we go to Disney this November. Our actual date was in July, but for many reasons, we did not get to do anything special then.

So Disney it is. First trip without kids, as they are both doing their own thing now with college,work,girlfriends etc.

I can't wait!!!
