My husband and I are planning a trip to Disney in December (our first trip without the kids in 4+ years). The trip will fall right after our anniversary and I'd love to surprise him with a really special experience. I am open to things that are more grown up, or things that will make us feel like kids again. I am willing to spend some extra money on the experience if it is something that has to be arranged beyond basic park admission/dining options, but it can't be something crazy like renting a private venue in a park or anything.

I'd love some ideas!

Following this for my own benefit as I'm trying to think of the same thing!! We're big Star Wars fans, so if they bring back the dessert party with the new fireworks, I might surprise him with that?

Maybe a nice dinner at Narcoosee's or Cali Grill, where you can watch Wishes fireworks after? You may also consider a spa day at GF? Ferrytale Wishes Dessert Cruise, maybe? If you're more into the park experience, perhaps a tour or jungle trek in AK?

*We did a horse & buggy ride at one of the resorts. It's not very expensive, or at least it wasn't 2 years ago. We were able to do this at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort.
*I would search out a signature dinning place to have a really good dinner.

It depends on what you are into:
sports: golf, mini-golf, fishing, marathon, bowling, ESPN Club, WWS/ESPN Zone, etc
shopping: DTD, area outlet malls, large scale malls
drinking: Jellyrolls, Raglan Road, monorail tour of resorts, walking tour of resorts in the Boardwalk area
movies: DTD 24 screen theater some with meals served by waiters
night clubbing: Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance, Raglan Road, Citywalk
resort tours: monorail tour of resorts, Boardwalk around the lake tour of resorts, horse drawn tour of FWC, AKL/AKV
offsite: Gaylord Palms Resort, Citywalk, swamp tour
eating: Formal GF 5* Chef's Table @ V&As

I'm following for my own benefit, too.
My husband proposed to me in Cinderella's Castle during Wishes on July 2014. He had everything planned perfectly with the Cast Members before we arrived, even had the photographer coordinated to capture the special moment. We are going back to Disney for our first wedding anniversary and I would love someone to give some input on something special to surprise him with. We already have our anniversary dinner planned at Cali Grill right before Wishes, which will be very romantic. I have heard of packages that Disney Flower & Gift will do, but the price tag was a little high for just some trinkets that he would probably rather pick out himself while we're in the parks. All of the above ideas for activities are great, but I know there are some Disney secrets out there. I didn't even know a glass slipper proposal was an option until it happened to me! Any special ideas on ways Cast Members can spread a little extra magic?
