Anniversary help

We will be in Disney on 9-12, on our 25th anniversary and my parents are coming with us and are celebrating their 50th. I'm trying to think of a fun anniversary experience for us. FYI, my dad is not a huge Disney fan, and has not seen most movies. So the fireworks cruise or a dessert party may not be his thing. He direct like Workd Showcase though.

We have never really done food and wine - I'm thinking maybe walking around WS and sampling?

Food and wine would definitely be on the list. Any thought on doing a really nice dinner at Victoria & Alberts?? I have heard the africa dinner/wine tour (semi private) is great, think dinner is at Jiko and it includes a safari. Pricey but heard the food and experience is amazing. Fun experiences that everyone might enjoy would be the dessert party. I have been to disney w/ non WDW fans and they loved the castle show. It's amazing whether or not you've seen any disney movie prior. And you get a great seat. Make sure you get your celebration buttons at town hall too.

Last year my DH and I celebrated our anniversary with dinner at California Grill for the fireworks. (It turned out to be our last time seeing wishes.) It was great-food, service, and atmosphere. We scored a prime reservation just a few days ahead, too. Have a wonderful anniversary!

If he's a fan of World Showcase, there is a tour you can do that talks about the World Showcase. You can find more info on the Disney website.

If you want to do more of an "event' in addition to F&W, maybe consider a dinner at Monsieur Paul in the France pavilion. It's one of the best signatures on property, IMHO. Great food, quite elegant and wonderful service. A private Illuminations fireworks cruise might be nice. They leave from the YC boat dock (right outside EP). Illuminations is gorgeous and not as "Disney" as the nighttime shows in DHS and MK.

see if any tours are open yet. That's when we usually go and that's also close to our anniversary. The Holiday presenters at WS will be great to see while you're there. Stop in and try the holiday warm wine at Germany it's great.
