It's our 5 year wedding Ann in June- we're staying at WL. Here's where I need help. I've booked the fireworks cruise and want to plan more special things. We've got the Annual Passes, the Disney Dining card, everything is in place, but I want more!

What do you all think I could do for dinner in France? My husband is of French descent and we have PS at Chefs de France one evening. I would love to have someone play some romantic French music for us at the table and read him a love note from me, in French. Is this possible?

We are going to dine at Whispering Canyon, Artist Point, Alfredo's, Concourse Steakhouse, Le Cellier, Crystal Palace, San Angel & Hollywood & Vine. How can I make these dinners into something special?

I am considering the vow renewal, but I am too insecure about being overweight to do this right now. You know, I would have to buy a dress and that can get depressing. :sad2:

I know about Gifts of a lifetime, but trying to think of other ideas.
Can I get engraved champagne glasses brought to our table one night?
How?

Can I bring our cake topper from our wedding 5 years ago and have them put on a small cake?

Let me know any and all ideas - I'm so excited! I'm the planner, my DH thinks I'm OC about it, but it's so easy to get OC about it with Disney.
And I upgraded our room to Honeymoon Suite for the last 2 nights at WL and I had to tell him about it. So I'd like some secrets/surprises yet to come. Ya know?

Thanks for reading all of this and for writing back!!

Hi Julie...Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary!

Are you staying concierge by any chance? I know the folks at the pre-planning office can often help you plan some special "surprises".

If you haven't already, you might want to make sure your anniversary is "noted" on all your ADR's and be sure to remind the CM of that when you arrive at the restaurant.

I would guess that Gifts of a Lifetime has more ideas and more "ways" to do some of the things you want (like the violinist and stuff)...I don't know of any "department" in Disney that does that...but I could be wrong.

I'm also not sure about the cake topper...I don't know how the logistics of that would work. I do know that there are ways to have cakes delivered to a restaurant (or perhaps your resort) and you can put the topper on yourself. I would think the same logistics problems might prevent getting the champagne glasses to you...but again, I could be wrong.

Gosh...it sounds like I'm kinda raining on your parade! I'm not, really!! Your excitement is just shining through in your post!

I do want to comment on the vow renewal though...buying a dress is not easy for anyone. I'm overweight too and I had a VERY hard time finding a dress (and mine was not a traditional gown...just a regular dress). But do not let that discourage you!!! A Disney Wedding/Vow Renewal is so MAGICAL you will discover a confidence you didn't know you had!!

I'm sure others will chime in with other ideas! Keep us posted on your plans!!
