We are going to Disneyland for our Anniversary in October and were going to eat at Blue Bayou. I hear it will be closed. Any other suggestions, we like good food, but we are not the fancy type. Non drinkers but will pay for a great dessert. 32 years.

Welcome! :)

A few years ago we went to Steakhouse 55 for our 20th and loved it! The food was tasty and fresh from the french bread to the salad to the steaks. It was very nice but not over the top "fancy". We chose it over BB because we thought the food would be better and I'm glad we did. :thumbsup2

Oh, they knew it was our anniversary and they brought us a fancy dessert to split with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. It was plenty because we were already full.

We did our anniversary dinner at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen & did the Banana's Foster for 2. They actually make that table side.....really fun to watch the flame shoot up 5 feet in the air!!! The food was delicious, the service was great & it was a favorite of our trip!!!

Happy Anniversary!!

We are in the same situation. We head to Disneyland every year for Halloween, and Halloween is our anniversary.
We usually have an early dinner at BB, but this year it is not an option.
I have been trying to find someplace else to eat and it has been tricky.
1. I am a vegetarian, he is not.

2. We are going to the Halloween Party that night and don't want to be eating too far offsite.

So far, all we have decided is breakfast that morning will be at Carnation Cafe (he loves it there). Dinner: we have no idea. We don't need anything swanky, just "Disney".

Oh: the bananas foster at Ralph Brennan's is a blast! We did that one Halloween after the park closed. It was awesome!

OP, take it from me, you will enjoy your dinner at Steak House 55. I ate there for breakfast and dinner last week and it was the best food I had all week. Their hand rubbed seasoned steaks are way better than what you get at BB. I know because I did both places and SH 55 is my new favorite. We wished we would have skipped GK for dinner one night and went back to SH 55.
