It will be our 6th wedding anniversary whilst we are visiting WDW in December and as we got married there I would like to go somewhere nice for dinner. We don't want to eat at V&A however we did have our wedding reception on the shore of the seven seas lagoon - I was thinking of asking the GF if they could arrange something. I don't know if this will be possible as we are spending the first week at AKL and don't move to GF until the second week!

We will have DS who will be 14 months with us so want somewhere he will enjoy too! The only place I can think of at the moment is Ohanas - I have never been here though and don't know of it will be "special" enough! Any suggestions?

How spooky...................

It is our 6th wedding Anniversary, we got married at WDW and our DS will be 11 months :teeth:

We are going to the Yachtsman's Steakhouse, but luckily we have a babysitter for the night :)

Your idea at the GF sounds lovely :) I hope you can arrange that. Ohana's is lovely :) How about Citrico's at the GF we ate there a couple of years ago and if you get an early ADR you will be fine to have your DS with you :)

Have you considered a private fireworks cruise? or if this is too late i think you can hire the boat out earler.

I was planning on booking it as a suprise for my fiance when we went a few weeks ago. GF Catering were going to arrange a lovely meal for us with wine, they can even recreate a mini version of your wedding cake for dessert! Give GF catering a call, im sure they'll be able to offer lots of help!

Hi there,

I have been to WDW many times and loved many different types of meals, althought my wife organised a lovely meal in the California Grill for my 40th Birthday. It was well worth it, the food was great and the view, awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

My favourite restaurant at WDW has to be Jiko's - by far the best food on-site we think - much better than CG.

:sunny: Hi

My vote for a special meal would be california grill. The food is great and the views even better. There were plenty of children when we went. The view of Wishes from the balcony is amazing, it was one of the hightlights of our trip. :)

On the other hand we had a great meal at O'hannas. We had made an early reservation and got a window seat and watched the lights go on at MK as the sun went down. Because we went early we had time to hop on the monorail back to MK and watch Wishes from main street but you can watch it from the beach at the poly which would be nice.

We went to Narcooseas at GF a few years ago for my DSis's wedding reception. It's right on the waters edge and has a wooden terrace wrapped around it. They dim the lights and pipe the music from Wishes as well.

Whatever you choose have a great time :goodvibes

If you are at AKL then you could organise a lovely meal to be served on the balcony of the room, they can be very accomdating and that way it is nice and relaxed, can be very special and DS can be very happy and when tired go to sleep.
