Going to WDW for our anniversary in September and wanted to take my wife out to dinner. I have been to many of the restaurants but wanted to know if anyone had a recommendation for that special night. Forget Victoria and Alberts, I'm not that loose with the cash.

It depends on what you/she like and are looking for?

What cuisine is her favorite? You looking for great food or ambiance? Park or resort? There are so many places I could recommend.

A few of my favorites: California Grill, Jiko, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Citricos.

Make sure you tell the wait staff it is your anniversary, they will make it special.

My wife and I are also celebrating our anniversary and I'm taking her to California Grill for our dinner. Can't beat that view.

She and I both like filet minon which we had years ago at Le Cellier. Also liked the french restaurant in Epcot whose name I just forgot.

Never found anything in magic kingdom, Hollywood studios or Animal Kingdom that was all that special other than for lunch. We do go to Boma but did not want to do a buffet style for the anniversary and it is a bit of a pain to get there without a car from BVC.

Any nice restaurants in Disney Springs now?

Shula's Steak House or Yachtsman Steak House? Seem to be a lot of good comments for Morimoto Asia. We like Narcoossee's before it gets crazy crowded for a more romantic time. California Grill is nice, just not our style.

DH & I have reservations at Chefs de France for our 15th anniversary... ok, really, we're going to Disney by ourselves for 3 days for our anniversary, happen to have reservations at Raglan Rd, Yak & Yeti, and Chefs de France. Since that's the one that we'd be least likely to take the kids to, I'm calling it our anniversary meal :) California Grill was on the list for potentials as well, but with only 2 nights (DIS party & Pandora) we couldn't make it all fit.

We considered California Grill, Citricos, Flying Fish, Monsieur Paul's, and Morimoto Asia before settling on California Grill.

Your last line cracked me up!:D

I would go for Cali grill make sure mention anniversary and ask for window seat. Time dinner near wishes so you can have the outdoor deck To see it very clearly.

We had a VERY special anniversary experience at Artist Point. We were met by the manager, who welcomed us, escorted us to our table, and gave us our personalized menu. We started with an amuse bouche from the kitchen and complimentary champagne. The service, food, and experience were great. We had a table with a wonderful view. I can't say enough good about it. Ironically we had eloped and didn't have a reception dinner, so this was kind of our reception-30 years later!

Steak fan ... Yachtsman or Schulas. I still say California Grill for ambience. Disney Springs does have some nice, new places - but not a location I would pick for a nice anniversary dinner - but that's just me. STK brunch is AWESOME - if you get a chance for that. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the ones mentioned in prior postings.

Schulas can be very expensive. I agree with the suggestions for Flyin Fish or Artist Point...oh and Jiko's.

Thanks everyone for you thoughtful suggestions. I will let her choose after reading this thread.

For our anniversary a few years ago we went all out and did Victoria & Albert's. Best meal ever. Mind you, it was when you could still use the TiW card there :)

My wife and I always have a special supper at the Brown Derby. We're both fans of old Hollywood and enjoy the movie-star ambiance. Beyond that, we crave the fantastic Cobb Salad, which originated at the Brown Derby and is nothing like what other restaurants serve under that name today (it's chopped so fine that it's "riced" and you can eat it with a spoon). This makes for a dressy meal without the ultra-high expense of Disney's most expensive restaurants.

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary at Yachtsman and it was amazing!! The food was awesome and we were spoiled by our waiter, he went above and beyond in helping to make our dinner incredibly special!!
