OMG! Can't wait to have a date night!!! We will have our kids at the Sandcastle Club and are staying at BWI. I have no idea where to go- was thinking Epcot perhaps? Any ideas where to go/eat? We are pretty flexible food wise- and will be overjoyed to just have a kid-free meal with adult conversation. We can either use a DP credit or pay OOP.pixiedust: thanks for your help! :)

We did Narcooses with a Wishes view once and it was so magical. I was just with my sisters but thought what a cool date night it would be. They pipe in the music so you get the whole effect.

If you're willing to pay OOP then I say Blue Zoo at the Dolphin. The food is amazing. Another great option would be Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I don't know when you are going, but my husband and I really enjoy Flying Fish on the Boardwalk. We do our anniversary dinnets there. It's supposed to open back up in September I believe.

Epcot is a great idea :) we love Via Napoli!
We also loved Trattoria Al Forno at the Boardwalk!

I'd say Les Chefs de France has nice night time ambiance, and if you are seated by the window you might be able to see fireworks once they start, although it can be noisy in there, this is pretty typical of many Disney restaurants. Via Napoli is very nice, also can be loud in the main dining room. For an out of the way spot try Tutto Gusto; it is wine cellar, they specialize in small plates, wine, appetizers, but you can order off Tutto Italia's menu. For a unique setting, there is San Angel Inn, we really enjoyed the food.
If you like sushi and tempura, try Tokyo Dining.

There are so many choices!

IF you want a quiet and kid free (other than your own) meal, then the only good choices are the 3 restaurants at SWAN/Dolphin--Shulas, Blue Zoo, or Il MUlino.

You might get lucky at a WDW operated restaurant, but then again you may be next to a table of screaming kids throwing food all over the place.

Another vote for the restaurants at the Swolphin if you can pay OOP. Our favorite there is Il Mulino.

If you want to go to EPCOT, then I would say La Hacienda de San Angel at the Mexico pavilion--it's only opened for dinner and if you ask for a table by the windows, you can watch the night show if you time it right. If you want a quiet romantic, away place, then I would suggest Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. Also, as PP said, Narcossee's at GF timed with the fireworks would also be a great, romantic spot. Enjoy your date night no matter where you decide to dine!

We only visit five TS eateries at WDW when we go there for an actual meal.
.
1) We prefer
. . . fine food
. . . excellent, top notch service
. . . innovative dishes with flair and quality
. . . overall great value
. . . relaxed and soothing dining atmosphere
. . . behaved and somewhat quiet patrons
.
2) The only sit-down restaurants we routinely visit,
. . . Sanaa - Animal Kingdom Villas Resort (one of my personal favs)
. . . Artist Point - Wilderness Lodge Resort
. . . Citricos - Grand Floridian Resort
. . . Shula's Steakhouse - Dolphin Resort (no DDP)
. . . Il Mulino - Swan Resort (no DDP)
.
3) Our (nearby) off-site Recommendations:
. . . Bull & Bear - Waldorf Astoria Bonnet Creek - Fine Dining
. . . Café D'Antonio - Celebration - Casual Italian
. . . Columbia - Celebration - Casual Spanish/Cuban
. . . Fish Bones - Hwy192 - Seafood
. . . Venetian Room - Caribe Royale Hotel - Fine Dining
. . . The Hotel Tea Room - Davenport, FL - Casual - Friday Steak-Fry, Afternoon Tea
.
NOTE1: The only time we visit other TS eateries is to renew our ratings for the eatery(ies).
And, when we do these, we have "sampler" dishes (whether free or paid) so we can try
several appys/entrées without pigging-out or having major weight gains.
.
NOTE2: Now, for a real treat, go to The Hotel and Tea Room in Davenport, Florida on
a Friday evening. It is run by a real, true "Little Old Lady" (Miss Mae), who refuses to
charge big bucks! They have a rib-eye steak dinner that tops Ruth's Chris' or Shula's.
The steak covers the entire plate. They get primals and do their own cutting of the steak.
It is an OLD hotel with a small dining room. Has an award winning Pastry Chef from TV and
he has Best-In-Show awards for pies, pastries, and cakes !!! Our total bill for the wife and I
(salad, 1½"-thick-after-cooking rib eye, dessert, and taxes) was only $66.00. They have a
nice Afternoon Tea. Breakfast is literally all you can eat for $6.00, tax included. Yep, six
bucks! Order your eggs, bacon, pancakes (etc). After, you are asked if you want more of any
of the items. NO EXTRA CHARGE. The place is about 40-min from WDW, but really worth the
wait. Check them out on Facebook or Internet. Ressies required for Friday night steak fry
and most Afternoon Teas. They do not serve alcohol, but you can BYOB for wine or spirits.[/I
