Anniversary day ideas?????

Hi we have booked to go to Disney staying on resort in ASMu for 21 nights next June,while we are out there it is our 8 year wedding anniversary, we have already decided on a champagne balloon flight in the morning and were hoping to do the twilight package with Discovery Cove in the evening but they have now stopped doing this

Does anyone have any ideas for something special to do on the day???

tbh, as we have kids and i want something nice without breaking the bank (looking at $600 for vanda and childcare..), im struggling..how about a wishes cruise? the dessert party or a spa day?
cakes are nice but not cheap or a gift delivered to the room from disney florists or gifts by betsy?
yes...i have done quite alot of research on this one

Hi tracey how strange both posting at the same time,great minds and all that lol

I like the idea of the dessert party will look into that,we were looking for a nice restaurant too so will have a look at V + A's menu.

How do you go about arranging the gifts do they come to the front desk and then get taken to our room?????

2 Tiggies i might arrange the show for my DH as a surprise he is always saying thats one thing he wants to see.

How about afternoon tea at the GF? We did it last year for Dh's birthday, and this year I want to do it for our anniversary. It's really lovely, and they have different tea options, including one with champagne

Firstly Congratulations!!

We have our 13th anniversary when we go in October and have booked the California Grill for the evening timed to be at the same time as Wishes.

Although - despite booking on the first day I was allowed - I could not get the reservation for our actualy anniversary date - so we are doing it a couple of days later (I think we are actually at Le Cellier on our anniversary)

I have read good things about the California Grill when wishes is on so hopefully it will be good.

I'm sure you'll love California Grill. It's the perfect place to go for a special occassion. Make sure you tell them it's your anniversary and you'll get a good chance of getting a window seat.

I proposed to my Wife at the California Grill and it was such an amazing night. We're going back there in September for our birthdays and can't wait!

Its our 18th Wedding Anniversary whilst out there this holiday (8th August) and we're booked at Crystal Palace for Lunchtime. Couldn't think of anywhere would rather be than in the Magic Kingdom!!

I had dinner at Victoria and Alberts for the first time on my trip last month.

Absolutely wonderful!! if you want a special dinner for your anniversary - that's the place. It was worth every penny and then some.
