Anniversary day & evening with yong children

Hi,

We are hoping to go back to WDW next November for our anniversary. We got married at Disney so it is the best place for us to celebrate. We now have 2 children. When we go ds will be 4 yrs old and dd will be 3 yrs old. We are looking for something to do on our anniversary that we can do with the children but also make it a special occasion. We don't want to leave them at a kids club or with Kid's Nite Out, we want to spend the time with them. Is there anything we can do that will be suitable for an anniversary celebration but child friendly too.

I figure that Disney is the most likely place to find something to suit both needs.

How about a Wishes or Illuminations cruise? Although expensive, the cost can be cut by finding another family to share with (although if it's your anniversary this might not be an option for you).

Another alternative might be to go to one of the dinner shows such as Hoop de Doo Revue or Spirit of Aloha, something the kids will enjoy as well.

Hi - we were there for our 10th anniversary last year (we got married in the wedding pavillion in 1998!!) and it was also the first time with our two children (then aged 3 and 9mths) and we decided not to do Disney - mainly because nothing could top our special wedding day (our family and friends had been there - including my dear Dad who sadly passed away a couple of years after organising our whole wedding for us)

Anyway, we opted for a cabana at Aquatica for the day - we had never been there before, so it was something new and exciting and having someone wait on us all day felt like we were having a 'special' treat!!

Whilst we weren't overwhelmed with the water park itself, it was a really nice relaxing day with our two children and built some new memories to go with the wonderful old ones!!
