Anniversary/Christmas at the Fort

Yippie! Just booked Dec. 13-23, 2012 at the Fort to celebrate our 30th anniversary! I received a pin in the mail, but was told it could not be used. The nice cm said to try back later before the expired date. Has anyone had experience with a pin not working initially and then trying again?
