Anniversary Celebration

Hi all,
This isn't exactly DVC related but you all seem to know your stuff around here so I thought I would ask for suggestions! I am planning a trip right now for my parents who will be celebrating their 35th anniversary in Disney Sept 18-24 (staying at Boardwalk). Looking for some ideas on a special something my sisters and I could plan for them while they are there as a gift. Already have lots of dining booked and La Nouba tickets as well. Was thinking a boat cruise (they own a boat and enjoy boating very much), any thoughts on those? Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

You could surprise them with a custom cake. Search for the cake chatter thread to see some options. There are fireworks cruises as well. You can do it as a group or I believe the Grand Floridian rents the boats out for private cruises. That is probably very pricey. You could consider booking them a special tour suck as Keys To The Kingdom, around $75 per person, includes lunch. That is a lot of fun. Or consider booking the Wild Safari Tour at Animal Kindom. We took my patents on that tour in December. It's around $200 per person, but we really enjoyed it.

We had a custom cake delivered to Artist Point for our 30th anniversary. I can't express enough how awesome they made the whole experience. It started when we checked in and were greeted by the restaurant manager, given our personalized menu and were led to the table where our complimentary champagne and amuse bouche awaited (as a Food Network fan who'd only read of what an 'amuse bouche' was, I was thrilled). From that moment on, the entire thing was awesome. And since we eloped and didn't have a reception, this was it!





The wand was a gift from DH.

Jane with Gifts of a Lifetime can do amazing, amazing things!!! She helped me surprise DH for our anniversary and then for his birthday. It was awesome!!!!
