This is a mixed restaurant/resort question, hope this is an okay spot to post it.
DH and I (oh, and the littlest one
) will be having an anniversary dinner at California Grill in September. Always thought I would order a cake to surprise DH but then I realized a couple things: we might want to order CG's desserts and we won't want to cart the extra cake around if we decide to go elsewhere on our date.
So, I am wondering if I could have a cake delivered to our room? A dining CM gave me the bakery number but I haven't called yet. Will the bakery deliver there or only to restaurants - does anyone know? If they do, do we have to be in the room to accept delivery or do they leave it at the front desk?
If they do not deliver to rooms, is there another option for getting a sweet surprise delivered to the room (other than room service, I guess!)?
I want to have a something unexpectedly nice happen for DH that day - would it be worthwhile to have it noted on our ADR/tell CG when we arrive? I am not looking for free stuff, I am perfectly willing to pay for it and I am not even sure what I am looking for, if we didn't do a cake there, just something to make him smile. I am betting that something simple like getting a window seat for Wishes - our ADR time is supposedly a good time to experience Wishes from CG - would be a good option, so would noting on our ADR it was our anniversary give us an edge (LOL)?
I guess I am trolling for ideas more than anything.
How did you make your anniversary at Disney memorable (um, the G rated version, of course)?
