Another glorious day!! Woke up at 7am for 07:30 breakfast and got to the park at 9am this morning. We had been in talks about me going on Space Mountain but was unsure (due to ridiculous childhood fear of the dark!) the idea was hubby would go on (he said he couldnt remember how it was despite having been on the ride about 10 times across the last 3 years) and report back to me! He came off and couldnt make up his mind if it would freak me out or not so I declined to go on it! Because it was late we headed to Salon Mickey for some more caffeine and cakes ready for the Studios as today was Studio day.

Got in the studios for minutes after 10am and saw queue for Crush was already past the 60 minute marker so we went on Cars (this is fun and hubby didnt go on it at xmas!) then after I joined the queue for Crush and DH went off to get FPs for Tower of Terror (for him not me! Theres a dark issue again with that one for me) and he took these piccies of Sully dont know who the child is but really thought these pics summed things up, they are adorable!

<a href="http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/0rion33/?action=view¤t=Disney08493.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/0rion33/Disney08493.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
it was now 10.30 and his FPs were for 11:20-50am. Well I know Crush is said to be dark but there is something about it being aimed at children and seeing all the kids in the queue told me to just go on it-if it was really scarey it was only a few mins and couldnt kill me. Plus hubby announced he had bought me a tiny LED torch I could hold if I didnt like it (its weird but I am okay as long as I have a little light like a glow in the dark watch or mobile phone screen!!) so that was reassuring. We queued for an hour (off it at 11:35) and I have to say this is the funniest ride ever and became our favourite ride in the whole park. Yes it was dark but there are tiny white lights projected all over the dome on the East current part of the ride so it looks like you are in the night sky it is very pretty. As for a kids ride however no way!! I think it is next to Rock n Roller Coaster the most thrilling ride there, I have never laughed so much in my life-by the time we were getting off I was wiping away the tears I had laughed so hard, it was so unexpected! (We went on this ride three times over the holiday). I mean you are rocketed out of the station to the outside (the part you can see whilst queuing) almost straight away and we both had whooo moments because of the speed! It does not matter if you sit forwards or back we tried both and every time the ride experience was different, it also seems to vary according to the weight of the people in your carriage! But honestly the first drop after you go up the massive slope is a total shock and then once you get over that and the whole shock of how fast it is actually going you feel compelled to yell Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and giggle a lot. Loved it.
DH Had 20 minutes to go on his FP for ToT so he went off to ride that whilst I kept his spare one so when he got off he could ride it again if he wanted but he didnt he was very disappointed with it. Thought Disney could have done better with the theming and although the effects were pretty good the ride itself was just not very thrilling and that Crushs Coaster was way more exciting. He felt it was built up to be more than what it was-so thumbs down there.

It was just after 12 so next off to RnR queue was half an hour so we queued I had again heard this was a dark ride and so was very nervous and have been avoiding it for years because of this but then I had heard Crush was dark (which it was) but I had been absolutely fine with it, so thought what they hey I might be surprised again. Indeed I was I LOVED IT!!!! New favourite ride, not at all scarey and love the acceleration at the beginning, again me and hubby laughed our way round it, although the music wasnt working but the ride was much fun!!
As we left HSM was just starting so we watched that,
<a href="http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/0rion33/?action=view¤t=Disney08606.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/0rion33/Disney08606.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
From here we went to see Stitch Live! Absolutely loved this thought it was hilarious and Stitch was adorable although both times we caught this show it took a little while to warm up the audience especially as one viewing there were only a handful of us in there who spoke English-sometimes I found it hard to catch what he said so god knows how asic English speakers coped. But all the same the kids loved it and we really enjoyed this (we joined in very loudly!)
After we had photos under the raining umbrella,
<a href="http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/0rion33/?action=view¤t=Disney08637.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/0rion33/Disney08637.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
grabbed FPs for RnR for later then headed off as next up was Animagique which we have never seen before. Cannot believe we havent seen it before it was fantastic, I sat there open mouthed for the whole 20 minutes, what a fantastic show, children and big children will love it, adults will really appreciate the effects and the amount of work that goes into it. Will def be catching that again and again on future hols. After Animagique we went to RnR with our fastpasses then decided we needed to do Crush again as we still couldnt get over how exciting that ride was! (it was definitely a coaster kind of day) got in line at 3pm and were off laughing manically at 4pm. Had reservation at Walts for 4:30pm (Parade was at 5 so wanted window seat). We got our window seat and it was an amazing experience, wonderful food, atmosphere and to be above the parade eating dinner and also the character express (well dinner in one hand camera in the other) made this the best and romantic anniversary meal ever, We showed our waitress our halfboard plus vouchers and APs so we got our aperitif and she gave us the halfboard plus voucher users menu (3 courses, choice out of 3 dishes for each) but she said with our APs she would also give us the main menu as we could then part ex our vouchers and get a discount on the bill anyway. So we promptly had 3 wonderful courses with a bottle of wine and the whole thing was incredibly reasonable for the quality.

I loved this chair! We were in the Discoveryland Room
<a href="http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/0rion33/?action=view¤t=Disney08692.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/0rion33/Disney08692.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
After dinner (and possibly geared up by that bottle of Rose) I agreed that when hubby said if I could do Crush and Aerosmith then I would be fine on Space Mountain so I agreed. I felt sick as a dog in the queue I was terrified .

But I went on after 12 years of avoiding it,
I think this was as we hit the loop:

armed with my LED safety light (which I never used as it wasnt pitch black in there at all) and it really wasnt that bad, there were some fab effects and some that were totally wasted as you were going too fast to see them.
Proof!!!
<a href="http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/0rion33/?action=view¤t=Disney08703.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/0rion33/Disney08703.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
My only gripe .this is the most painful coaster I have ever been on in my life-I dont know who said it was smooth, maybe the track was lose but each time I went on this I had a mega headache from the amount it rattles you around at! You keep your head back it gets smacked around in the head rests, you lean forward you get whip lash-so I gritted my teeth and hoped it would end before I got brain damage. If you want smooth go on Crush or RnR.
After this feeling very pleased with myself
There was no queue for Honey I shrunk the audience so on we went!
