OK here we go. We are celebrating our 32 Anni. and of course want to be at a great restaurant for dinner. Should we go to: V&As chefs table, Artists Point, or Jiko? My DH and I are foodies (we live in New Orleans);) . Thought about California Grill also but can it really compare with Commanders Palace here? We wanted to try something new. Something you don't see in New Orleans. And wine parings are a must. Well whatcha think?

Artist Point would be my recommendation, Territory Lounge at WL is also a nice atmosphere for an after dinner drink.

WL is our home so I am extremely partial to this resort, it is so relaxing and beautiful.

California Grill is our other favorite signature dining location.

Happy Anniversary!

You can't go wrong with any of your three choices. They are all on top of our list.

Jiko - something different, great choice of south african wines, beautiful hotel to enjoy wandering around in afterwards and seeing the animals on the savannah from the beautiful deck...holding hands sitting in the rocking chairs around the firepits...ahhhh :)

My DW and I have celebrated both 25 and 30th anniversaries at Artist Point and highly recommend it. Ask for a table by the windows when you check in at the podium.

We have never dined at V&A's. I expect it must be better, but I can't convince my DW that the price is worth it. ;) IMHO I don't think you would be disappointed with AP.

Happy 32nd! We will be celebrating #31 in August, but not at WDW this time 'cause we're going in May instead. :)

I would pick V&A if money is not an object. It is really $$$$$. We had our 15th anniversary dinner here several years ago and it was the most magical night for us. The food & service were fantastic. We did not do the wine pairings because my wife does not drink wine. I had a couple of glasses though. If you do not want to go the V&A way give Jiko a try. It is our favorite Disnet restaurant. I had the lamb shank on our last trip and it was fantastic, my favorite meal of the trip. Make sure you mention your anniversary when you book your choice. Happy Anniversary.

So glad to hear that! We have reservations there on Tuesday for our 25th. That's the resturaunt I would have recommended, too, even though we haven't been there yet for our anniversary.

I have never been to Commander's Palace but my husband has, and his opinion is that the only restaurant that is even comparable is Victoria & Alberts. The food is just as good, the service, though amazing, is not quite as amazing as commander's palace. (they don't sit the plates down at the same time kind of thing) Artist's Point is also very good, but I personally do not prefer California Grill, though I have tried it twice so far. Both CG and AP are more on par with a really nice steak restaurant though.

All three are great choices. Obviously, V&A's is the top of the heap. But I'd personally go to AP if for no other reason than I don't have to get really dressed up.

Whichever you chose, be sure to let them know about your anniversary when you make your reservation. They will do something special for you.

Have you considered Narcoossee at the Grand Floridian? It overlooks the water with great views of Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary (their veranda is also the BEST place to view Wishes). The food and service are fantastic. I find it a rather romantic atmosphere and, they, too, will do something special if you let them know it's your anniversary. Ask for a table by the window.
