Annette's Diner Dining Review (2nd Visit!)

Left Dad and DBF at home for an all girls trip to DLP. We stayed at the Sequoia Lodge for 4 nights (July 12th – July 16th). Figured people might find our dining reviews helpful for upcoming trips.

Annette’s Diner (Dinner) – Friday 14th July

Our second visit to Annette’s! It was much busier this time (probably because it was weekend, more kids’ holidays had started and it was Bastille Day – the most likely reason!) We queued out of the door for about 30 minutes before being seated.

This time I ordered the Double Dion Duon – Double burger in white chunky bread with Dijon mustard. This is one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. The burger was clearly fresh mince cooked perfectly. Definitely something I would have again. It was incredibly filling but this time I made sure I kept room for dessert (i.e. my plate was no where near empty!).

DSis ordered the Shrimp Fajitas. Trading Standards should move in here. Shrimp?! More like prawns! She still enjoyed them a lot though – there just wasn’t a lot of “shrimp” and they were very small.

DM ordered the Euro Chick (chicken burger). She enjoyed it but I think I would have been disappointed if it had been my meal. Looked a bit basic and not very exciting.

For dessert DSis and I shared the Cheesiest Choice of Cheesecake. This was amazing though I didn’t care for the grilled banana on the side (maybe because I don’t like banana!). DM ordered the Annette's Cafe Gourmand. This was a coffee, a mini doughnut, mini brownie and mini milkshake. Very tasty – and a nice variety!

This time there was one skating waitress and some singing in the middle. Definitely recommended to all!

We have seen them a couple of times, but only during evening visits

We went to Annettes Diner at the beginning of July for lunch and dinner and never had the skating waitresses

The food is good though and I didn't think it was too badly priced either.

Will have to give it a go again, the food was good value and nice from what I can remember, and skating waitresses would be a giggle. Is it advisable to book, everytime we've walked past over the years the queues have been really long?

You can't make reservations at Annette's. You can only book at Cafe Mickey, The Steakhouse and La Grange at Billy Bob's.
