Annaul Passholder Discount Question

Does anyone here know if there are normally AP discounts in the months of May or June? Im trying to decide if it will be worth it to get an AP and it will be if there are discounts then but it won't be if there are not. And does anyone know how early on the codes are released? I think its about 2-3 months ahead of time but I might be wrong. Anyways thanks so much!

There are no guarantees that there will be AP discounts or that they will have rooms available at your choice of resort. My next trip will be to POR instead of CSR because there were no rooms at CSR with an AP discount. You should only purchase the AP if you already have a room reserved with an AP discount or if you anticipate that you'll take advantage of the other benefits and entitlements to such a degree that the benefits outweigh the costs.

As far as when to expect AP codes to come out, last year they announced AP discounts for late April thru July 4 in mid-March. Chances are good that if Disney will offer AP discounts for May, they will announce them sometime around then.
