You're right about no mother should have to lose a child. But he was brought up in a home where his mother was so drugged up all the time, and glorified on reality tv, and in the courts over her marriage to Marshall. What could a child think, growing up in that environment?

I'm sorry, I don't understand this. Are you saying it was her fault that he died? So she should be fine with it, no biggie?

From what I know, he died of a fatal reaction between three drugs he was taking (unless there is new information out there?) -- methadone and two antidepressants. He didn't overdose -- the three drugs just shouldn't be taken together (antidepressants in particular when taken together can cause a problem where your brain releases too much seratonin, I think.) I don't know if he was prescribed all of these meds, or whether he was prescribed one of them and got the others from friends, but he was treated for depression, and for a pain condition (I think a back problem). The methadone may have been used as a pain med. Whatever it was that happened, I think it would be a stretch to say he was a drug addict and got that from his mom and/or from being featured on reality TV(!) Certainly a huge stretch to say that his mom somehow "deserved" to lose a child. As far as I'm concerned, no one deserves to lose a child....

You weren't replying to my post but I thought I would add my opinion. I think the methadone was for his addiction to drugs(I don't remember which one in particular).

As for the last sentence I respectfully disagree, I don't think it would be a stretch to say he got the drugs from his mother. I won't say why on this thread as it's not in my intention to hijack it.

I can see them doing an interview, fine. Just a "How are you coping" or "What happened?" interview. It was the questions they asked her that really ticked me off...such as the "what did you put in his casket" question. It just seemed to me that the more she cried, the more morbid questions they asked her. They were feeding off her pain big-time!

I really dont think she is capable of thinking for herself.

There are 2 different Howard Stern's? All along I thought she was dating the crazy sirius radio Howard Stern.

I haven't seen the interview, but I'm sure she was paid a sizable amount to do it. She sold pictures of her son right after he died. It was the money then and now. Her choice.
