Hi All,

I know it doesn't officially change until 1/7, but I know they've already moved Anna and Elsa over to DCA. Can anyone who has been in the last week or so provide any input? We had one chance on our trip in November and they were gone before park opening so we missed out. Hoping we have better luck on our trip next month. A friend went and told me it was easier than expected for it being Christmas week, but I don't know if it was because not everyone knew or was prepared for the switchover quite yet. Thanks!

The AnE FP seems to be lasting longer than it did when it was at Disneyland.
I'm assuming that this is due to having two rooms instead of the one that was at Fantasyland.
For example, on two different occasions I grabbed a FP an hour and a half after opening (930am) and I received a 12pm FP.

Another thing I noticed is that when the park opens there is an initial rush and a CM may inform guests that they can visit AnE right now without FP. This option only lasted 5 -10 minutes though.

We were there 12/20 to 12/24, so right when the AnE m&g moved. I was actually surprised at how quick and easy it was to meet them. Especially after hearing all the strategy and planning involved when they were at DL.

We barely made it to rope drop and headed right over to the fast pass area. DH took our DS6 to meet Olaf while I waited in the short line to get the fast passes. I maybe waited 10 minutes and received passes for 9-9:20am. It took longer at the Olaf m&g. Lol. In the hour to kill, DS was able to meet Olaf and Mr. Incredible/Mrs. Incredible/Frozone all together and ride some of the rides in Bugs land. When it was time to meet AnE, there was a short line in the Animation Academy building and then we were led down a hallway to the room they were in. It took about 5 minutes. They were wonderful! DS was super shy with them and they talked to him fora couple of minutes.

There is no more crazy rush to get a fp, even on busy days they last until 1-3pm, but you'd be meeting them near park closing. Around 2 yesterday, with crowd indexes in the 90's for both parks, we could have gotten a FP for 9pm. They may cut the hours or go down to one room on slower days but you don't have to worry about them running out as quickly as before.

In fact, Fantasmic fp are running out before Anna and Elsa....

Are Anna and Elsa meeting together still? I thought I read somewhere that now you had to choose which one you wanted to meet.

They do not guarente that both will be there, but they didn't before either. However, most of the time, you will get the sisters together.

I read something similar but it was more like you didn't know which one you would be meeting. So you could get a FP wait 3 hours, then another 15 minutes in line to meet Elsa but instead only Anna is there (or vice versa).

They do try to have both out all the time but sometimes that is not the case. They don't typically tell you who you'll be meeting as it can change (especially when there were longer wait times). There is no choice to be made, no tricks to get them both. Typically you should get them both unless there was a last minute mishap, sick call, etc

The "normal" for DL is to have them together, WDW has them meeting seperatly, although in the same room, at least last I heard

WDW definitely has them on the same FastPass, but separate greetings/photos. In the summer, they had both girls truly together and I liked the way they interacted and we could get a big group photo. Now they are in two separate corners of the room.

Am I to understand that in DCA I might now get both sisters together in the same picture again? That would be nice!

Yes, I have been to the M & G twice in the last week and a half and on both occasions I met the two together with all of us in one picture. However the first time I went I believe that in the other room only one of them was meeting because I heard a parent make a complaint to a CM about only meeting one of them.

What do you guys mean about there being two rooms? Are we breaking Disney magic and have two annas and elsas (one set in each room?) or do you mean something else?

I'm assuming two rooms, but set up so that you don't realize there are two rooms-- just like with the princesses at Fantasy Faire and Mickey at Mickey's house (which has four rooms, IIRC).

This has been standard operating procedure for a number of characters at both WDW and DLR for many years. They just did not have room at the prior M/G to do that with A/E.

I think it is more "breaking Disney magic" to have them at the M&G and also at the Sing-Along.
