Anna & Elsa M&G

They use a FP but we still waited longer for it than anything else we had a FP for.

I would expect the FP wait for A/E to be longer than a traditional FP because they issue FP for all of that day's capacity. Think of it as more of an admission ticket than a fastpass and that will help.

When we were there a few weeks ago it was FP only. The FP windows are only 20 minutes long (as opposed to the typical hour). The FPs were not running out fast. There was no reason to rush there in the morning. I tried to get a FP just before going to 9:30 breakfast at Ariel's Grotto. The park opened at 8:00 and at 9:20, the FP was for 9:40, which didn't work since we would definitely still be at breakfast. We wound up pulling a FP at close to 11:30, and it still was only about 20 or 30 minutes before it kicked in. When we got in line, we had about a 10 or 15 minute wait. It was so much easier than last year!

That is great to hear. Last year we waited over an hour to see them! It was insanity and i don't see my son (who was 4 months last time and will be 16 months this next trip) being able to wait in a line for over an hour.

They do still use for and return lines can be anywhere from 10 minutes to 45-60 even. Honestly, the best time to meet them is in the evenings. They often stop using fp when the demand decreases and I've found that to be around or shortly after the parade (515) and they go to just standby with waits basically non existent.

We went on an 8am regular open day in July and got a FP just after 9 for a 9:20 window. We got there just at the beginning of our FP return window and waited maybe 5 minutes. I agree with the other posters- go early or go late for the shortest wait times but in general it's orders of magnitude better than last summer's zoo.

We went at rope drop Saturday and were third or fourth in line, so didn't need the FPs. Then, Sunday, my DD7 did Anna & Elsa's Boutique at 1:00 and, while she was in there, DH went to get FPs for them - return time was 1:50-2:10, so not that long after he pulled it. We waited about 30 minutes once we got in there.
