Apologies for brief report, but wanted to help out the board for those at the park now or arriving before the A&E move to MK w/FP+.

Staying at Contemporary. Woke 6:30am. Small good nosh at Atrium Club. Raisin bran, whole milk, banana, small bottle of water. On monorail 6:55am. At TTC 7:05ish. When arrived, less experienced cast members confusing information saying Epcot spur doesn't start till 8am. More informed cast members stated just needed to do 2 safety runs and we would board. Boarded epcot spur ~7:20am. At Epcot ~7:30am. Saw VIP tour line below. Main entrance by the time I got there, and I was first off the first monorail trip, I was about 15th back from scan point. They let about 20-30 people in (I presume were breakfast rezzies) in 5-7 mins ahead of 8am. At 8am they let eveyone else in. Pretty huge crowd. Some sprinters, most people walking. I ran/jogged to Norway. VIPs and brekkie rezzies were already there, plus first sprinters. Total of about 30 people ahead of me. We were done with the meet & greet by 10:15am. Absolute crush of people behind us.

The only thing I would do different, which probably would have got me, eh, maybe 5-10 spots closer to the scan (which saves say 20-30 mins) in is to have skipped the monorail altogether and cabbed it directly from hotel to Epcot, or driven if I had a car.

Good luck! FWIW, I did not think the cast member inside the meet and greet was very good. She was a shortish older lady with shortish/bob-type hair named "Pen" I think. She got REALLY REALLY whiny about having to take a picture with my camera which had a prime lens. Did not care for that at all considering the nonsense I had to go through to get this deal together. Anna & Elsa however were very good and my daughter loved the meet and greet.

GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY!

We were there last week, and decided to forego the EMH line so we could sleep in (we had the dessert party the night before Epcot EMH). We wound up the second family at our rope, and DH took off, walking, running, pretty much following the crowd as I told him to. We were told it was about a 45 minute wait, wound up being an hour, but before they even opened up they told us the wait was up to 4 hours. Craziness, I tell you.

FWIW, personally I think the afternoon might be the better way to go now. So many people are doing the rope drop dash and I keep hearing reports of 5 horus waits by 10am. However, I was just in Epcot this past Saturday around 2pm. It was a beautiful day, no rain or anything to drive people away, and when I strolled through Norway and past the corral line, I asked the CM at the end how long the wait was she told me 1-1/2 hours. It seems so many people are trying to get there first thing in the morning, and maybe not as many people are joining the line a bit later in the day. :confused3 Don't know, just sharing my own observation.

When frozen girls going magic kingdom? I there April 17 to 27.

April 20th is their first day in MK.

I think that CM was at the UK for Pooh! She basically insulted me because I didn't know every little thing about my point and shoot camera that I just bought, because I was not lugging down my DSLR.

Yes you can always roll the bones on later times if you have that luxury and it's not an important stop for you. But a proper rope dash locks you in about 90-120 mins wait.
