Anna & Elsa at Rope Drop

If we were to be at the park at 7:30am for an 8:00am rope drop, how long would the wait be to meet them if we headed straight there?

The wait for A&E is rarely long anymore, and they are not necessarily there all day. Today, for instance, the app says Anna from 1:00 - 9:30pm, and Elsa from 8:00 - 9:30 pm. So if you want to see both, you would need to go in the afternoon, not first thing in the morning. I would check the app when you get there. And honestly, I would do rides first and meet them later since the line doesn't tend to be as long as it used to be when they first appeared. Moana has the long wait time now.

If you go straight there at rope drop, you might very easily be first in line. Even at the longest, the wait for them is rarely longer than 20-30 minutes. However, as noted, check the app. Kristoff and Olaf are there 8:00-1:00 today, for instance, but Anna doesn't appear until they leave.

Seems like a waste of time to meet them right at rope drop, unless your kids MUST see them to start the day.

We waited about 30-40 minutes to meet them midday in June. However, there was some kind of "accident" that slowed the line down. I'm not sure if a kid puked or dumped a soda, or what. But they didn't let anyone in for a good 15+ minutes. When we finally did get in, we got to see all four characters. So fun!

We waited about 35-40 minutes last week to see all four. The line did look significantly shorter after Olaf left. It's a great place to rest and cool off mid afternoon. We just sat in the ground in line and watched the disney videos playing all around. My kids took turns going down to beasts library also. Not a bad wait.
