Family is going to Disneyworld September 14-20, 2014. I was on the website at midnight EST 60 days out from the our first day (so last Tuesday night) in order to book our Fastpass+ selections. I got everything we wanted pretty easily, at the times we wanted, and in the order we wanted - except for Anna and Elsa at Fairytale Hall. Is there something different about getting the fastpass for that? Or are they not available 60 days out? Surely, they weren't all gone that quickly. Anyone know?

yep people have been reporting they are all gone preatty much as soon as they can be. my guess is you didn't try to book them the last day of your trip first.

They were all gone that quickly. My 60 day was the day before yours. At midnight, dates were available for day 4 or later into the trip. By 12:45, most fastpasses were gone. There were only stray singles left.

Were you using the mobile app or on the website? For some attractions, it does not always appear on the mobile app. If you have not already done so, go to website and try it from there.

Also, try finding it for a single and copying it to the rest of your party. Some have had an easier time finding time slots that way.

Wow, that was my first question on disboard and I got useful feedback so quickly. Thank you so much!

Yes, after reviewing all of our selections, it occurred to me that I probably should have worked backwards, starting with the last day of our trip to capture the most premium fastpasses.

I am assuming that at least one parent will need a fastpass to accompany a 5 year old to the meet & greet? I am freaking out b/c we go Sept 23rd and I thought if I got on at midnight next Friday I would be ok....I thought they had extended the times and the fast passes had gotten more attainable. Will I have more luck with a party of 2 versus 3 or 4?

I was able to book a party of 9 for the last full day of our trip on the first day of FP eligibility for A&E.

This is probably a dumb question but does the one fastpass give you a meet and greet with both Anna and Elsa? Im only making sure because I know it used to be separate lines for each princess before A&E took over.

Just to make you feel a bit better, even if you would have worked from the last day forward, you wouldn't have gotten one either. Those were the exact days of our trip too and I was on at midnight on Tuesday as well. I started with Friday and then went through every day backwards. Nothing. Then I decided to check Saturday, since we are driving in, we had the flexibility to go to the park an extra day. I managed to snag them for our family (3). So we are pretty much just going to MK for an additional day to meet Anna and Elsa. The things I'll do for a three year old... ;)

What is going on that week? We have friends going in August (which I assume would be busier than Sept) and they snagged a daytime FP for A&E with no issues!

My wife and I stayed up(and I'm STILL up stressing over FP+ times and choices) She BEGGED me to use one for her so I got one for Sunday the 21st but I could have booked it for Thursday the 19th as well-as a matter of fact I booked another set for others in my party. I dunno why some people are having issues with this FP(well... I have ideas but Disney spent their $ billion so they make the rules.) For instance I went to book Winnie the Pooh and it didn't even show as available that day-don't think it's closed but anyhow this whole system is for the birds... Rather run from spot to spot instead of being up NOW planning and worrying about standing in STBY lines and not getting to do all the stuff I'm hoping to. Good luck! Keep trying

I booked all mine from the website-and Pooh wasn't even LISTED as STBY available-as in it wasn't even on the list of options for that day.

Our dates r 17-24. And we got a and e. One a later day. Of our trip a split day. Tues 22 nd. What a pain n the butt!

Yes, it should. A few weeks ago Elsa wasn't meeting in the morning and Aurora was meeting instead with Anna. Assuming all runs well, you should get both Anna and Elsa. :thumbsup2

Anyone who wants to go into the room needs to have FP. If you don't have any luck, keep trying.

I'm in the exact same boat. Same dates. Logged on at midnight. No luck. In hindsight, it's because we have a Sunday arrival date for the week, and there are lots of people that arrive on Saturdays.

I'm logging on several time a day, trying just to get a single fp on the dates I've set for Magic Kingdom. So far, no luck. Once I get one, I'll try to copy it to my toddler. If that doesn't work, I'll just keep trying for an overlapping time.

Considering how many of us there are in the same boat, I can't say I have high hopes. I know some people think it's silly to be upset over...but I really am. This is ENTIRELY within Disney's control. This is not like a roller coaster, with a defined capacity. These are actresses. When demand is THIS high...they need to increase supply. Offer A & E character meetings at more than one location. It's that simple.

Lots of folks are reporting even harder than usual experiences trying to get A/E FPs in September. It has likely gotten harder because the park will be closing early so many nights per week for the Halloween party. As soon as the Halloween party is over, I imagine they will have the same issue with the Christmas party.

I would be shocked if they don't add A/E to the party lineup, but there's no FP there and I imagine their standby line will remain long. Although standby will move faster if they keep both rooms open with both sides feeding from standby without and FP feeding in.

Good luck! pixiedust:

I think the part about Saturday arrival is key. We arrive sat 9/13 and I booked at midnight and was able to get A&E for the second half of the week. There were none available on sat/tues(our 1st 2 mk days) but got Friday.

The problem you are having is anyone staying on site that check in 3 days before you can book their fp for the same dates you are going to be there. I check in on Sept. 12 and I check out on Sept. 21. I was able to get FP for days you are there but able to book 2 days before you. I started looking on the 20th and I found A&E easily for my party of 4 without having to copy to anyone. I then checked for the 18th to see if I could get it that day instead and same thing I could easily get the fp for 4 again without doing the copying. I then tried for an earlier day in my trip but that was it nothing earlier was available. I am sorry you didn't have the same luck and I hope you will still be able to find a fp using the tips and tricks everyone else is using. I believe it is also harder to get at a slower time because the hours are shortened and the MNSSHP shortens them even more. You can also try at the 45 day marks when everyone with packages has to make their final payments, some may end up cancelling then.

^^^^That's a good point about there possibly being cancellations if people don't make their final payments. And don't be too rigid about that 45 days, because just like fast pass booking...the people checking in earlier also have an earlier payment date!!
