So due to the Annual passes and the new contract we have decided that for our Anniversary in Oct. we will be taking an adult only trip to WDW!!!!

I booked our restaurants last night!

Artist Point never been would love opinions!
Kona
Tokyo Dining
Cali Grill (where we ate the first day we were married)
and Fultons our new favorite.

I also just booked massages and pedicures at SSR!
DH loves these too ever since we had them on out HM.

The best part we can ride things together and have QUIET meals with no screaming kids to feed!!!!

I'm sorry I can't help you with your ADRs since we've never eaten at any of those restaurants. I just wanted to wish you a very happy anniversary and hope you have a wonderful trip! :)

Thanks. We have eaten at all of them except Tokyo Dining and Artist Point. We Love Sushi so it sounded like it would work well for us.

Happy Anniversary. I am so glad you like Fulton's. It is one of our all-time favorites, and DH and my best friend and her husband will be dining there when we are there in September for our 25th wedding anniversary. This is the first restaurant my DH took me to when we went to Disney.

Congratulations on your anniversary. We are also going in October for our Anniversary - though we will have the kiddos with us. Have a great trip!

we ate at Artist Point - for our anniversary - I remember very little :rotfl2: They gave us a free glass of champagne, and we did a wine flight!!

DH had the salmon on the cedar plank :thumbsup2

I, the picky eater, had the Buffalo steak :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Dessert!! oh yeah!! :thumbsup2

We sat on a bench with two families next to us (we were w/o children!) and we just conversed with them!! (you could say we are just friendly people) (I wonder if this makes sense - there was a row of maybe 4 or 5 tables and the side of the wall was a long bench style seat I think and the chairs on the other side of the table)

basically the tables were close together!!

So is it not romantic? I ask because we like the menu at FF too but thought it would be too crowded,

I think we had dd in the club room (babysitting room area) so we didnt want to dawdle and took the first available table -

I remember thinking we should've asked for a more "romantic" table - some of the tables for 2 are alongside the window, and they had some "rooms" that seemed great too!!

I really loved the attention we got there, and I loved the food -

we also ate at Yachtsman Steakhouse (great - the lighting was low, and no kids when we were there, but i've read reviews of people that have brought their kids) and at Cali Grille...

they are all so different - you really have to try it!!

DH and I are also celebrating our anniversary at WDW - next week!!! We're eating at Artist Point Thursday night and Tokyo Dining Friday for lunch. I'll report back!!! :thumbsup2

Your ADR's look great. California Grill is a must do for us on every trip. My wife and I will also be there in October.

So, we're back from our anniversary trip..... what a blast! Everything was wonderful, including the food!!!

Artist Point - we both had the salmon.... oh... my........ goodness. Even the pork belly hash that went with it (and doesn't SOUND good) was delicious. We had the buffalo rolls for an appetizer, and drinks... not sure what I had, but it too was good. We were full from everything and told them we didn't need the dessert menu, but they brought us out an anniversary dessert with two little candles on it! Some sort of blueberry muffin type thing with homemade berry icecream and fresh fruit around it...... too good!!!! One of the best meals I've had in a really long time!

Tokyo Dining - this was my first experience with sushi, so I tried just a very basic plate (Number 17, I believe) with tempura and sushi..... again... very good and very filing, and again, a free dessert that was awesome, and sadly, we were too full to finish.

You will be very pleased with both of these restaurants!!!! Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sushi at California Grill is great! Tokyo Dining I did not like at all (we eat sushi a few times a month and loved the old place.) Maybe we will try it again when it has been open a while. We are eating at Teppan Edo at the end of the month with friends.

Congrats! :thumbsup2 I can certainly relate as DW & I are doing the same thing for our anniversary in August...sounds like we'll be hitting some of the same restaurants, as we're also sushi fans...I know we've got ADRs for CG already, but we're also thinking about hitting Kimonos since we've read good things about the sushi there on the DIS...:woohoo:

Another vote for the CG - we're going for our 25th wedding anniversary in October - can't wait!! :thumbsup2
