well. it didnt exactly kill loony toons on the cartoon network. they actually made room for all of their new shows and moved the old stuff to the boomerang channel. i wouldnt exactly blame it all on anime.

and most anime on the television is repetitive. everything does seem the same because they are in a mindset that this is what american viewers like, so therefore, its what they play. but the stuff that isnt on tv is the stuff thats actually deeper, and has more meaning.

sorry, im not trying to change your opinion or anything. i was just curious.

Yeah, and who actually gets Boomerang as a standard channel? I've seen three different cable companies, and one satalite company, and none of them carried it standard.

I dunno. It just seems strange that loony toons left, and toonami came in. Bugs Bunny > Inuasha or whatever.

I used to watch Fullmetal Alchemist and Inuyasha, but then Adult Swim changed their schedual around and i never know when they're on. I dig samui champlu (or however it's spelled) Witch hunter Robin, Foolie Coolie, and of course...CASE CLOSED = LIFE! Speaking of adult swim, has anyone seen The Mr. T show on at 5:30am? Oh my freaking god, please set your alarms folks, it's sooooo funny. AND since I'm aldready off topic... does this smiley freak anyone else out?

Yeah, I'm into the anime. I love it. I watch Naruto religously, used to worship Sailor Moon, have had Full Metal Alchemist marathons with my friend, and was the first one in my school into Pokemon and Digimon.

And if it counts, I read manga's too: a couple of Naruto's, Full Metal Alchemist, Gravitation. (I borrowed the entire series from my dance teacher)

And for those of you who know Gravitation, I think we should name this smilie ( ) Yuki.

I used to like it a LOT more...

Sometimes...the stories kinda freak me out...they just get too...WEIRD...

I love drawing American-Anime characters...they aren't quite as good as the original Japanamation stuff, but I've been told that they are decent...

I have an entire collection of them from throughout high school on lined paper...and even BETTER...when I was little, I drew ALL the characters of Digimon from Season Two (which are all the Season 1 Characters grown up as well as a few MORE!)...cut them out...and then pasted them on cardboard...

Now don't tell me THAT isn't die-hard anime fan-ness at a young age? I'm kinda over the whole anime phase now though...still...I really like to draw them...it's like a second-nature doodle type thing.

Also, Becca...(Becka? Crud, I keep forgetting how to spell it, sorry!)...you're going to have to tell me a little more about this Cosplay stuff, because one of the girls on my floor for next year at college is really into that stuff....
