Animator's Palette Question for 7 Night Dream in Europe Sailing

I'm hoping somone here might know which night in AP is likely to be the "draw your own cartoon and have it animated" night on a 7 day sailing? If it matters, it's a European sailing on the Dream next month. Between overnights in port and adult dining, I want to be sure we don't miss it-- it's my kids' favorite part of the cruise.

Thank you so much. Sounds like we need to make sure we are in AP for the second night it comes up on the rotation. If you are in AP 3 times would it be the 2nd or 3rd time?
While I can’t say for certain, since the overnight in Hamburg includes several port adventures that are 12 hours, which would go through the first dinner seating and into part of the second seating, plus some evening adventures in town, they may not plan for any AP special happenings that night, as too many would miss it. You might want to check with guest services once on board to confirm the schedule.

If you are in Animators Palate 3 times, one time will be Pirate Night. That's typically the 2nd night, so Animation Magic would probably be the 3rd night. You should be able to tell in advance which night is Pirate Night by which night Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boutique is offering Pirate makeovers.

I do know which night is pirate night, but I didn’t know that pirate night is always separate from animation magic (is that what it’s called when your drawings come to life?) night?

I wouldn’t think it would be the last night of the cruise since it tends to take a little longer? And people need to pack? But that is just a guess on my part.

We had it on our last night in May on the Fantasy. We had Animator's Palate the first night (Crush), the 4th night (Pirates) and the 7th night (Animation). It was a great way to end the cruise!

I agree it’s a magical way to end the cruise (if anybody in your family is fond of drawing or animation).

Thanks everyone for the help and the tips. I went ahead and made a rotation request in hopes we aren’t in AP at all the nights we know we can’t be at dinner, just to be safe. I’ll definitely double check first thing after we make it on board…and when we have internet, I’ll try report which night it ended up being. 😀

They will do it on the last night of the cruise. It's honestly the worst night for it. The servers are so stressed about the turnaround and are trying to say goodnight and goodbye to everyone and manage the crazy timing of the animation show. It's less than ideal.

Wow, guess I'm in the minority. I love having AP on the last night of a 7-night because it means we get AP 3 times (and on Pirate Night!). I've honestly never felt super rushed, and love getting to end the cruise in my favorite restaurant with my favorite show.

(Totally not negating anyone else's thoughts here, just find it interesting I seem to be in the minority.)
