Animator's Palate - the show on the first night?

When I traveled on the 4 night Wonder , we did AP the first night and saw the light show....
On the Magic , if you have APLAPLA - do they do the light show on the first night or the second time you dine there?

Our dining rotation was LAPLAPL. Our first night at AP conflicted with formal night. No light show on formal night. Our light show was on the second AP night.

Hi Pat- (we're crusing together in Nov 2006). That's the rotation we had on our 7 night Magic cruise. Show was on the first night. Our cruise excitement started fast... DIS meet Deck 10 at 2:30, sail away party, AP dinner with the show, followed the next morning by our character breakfast! With a pace like that... the fun tone was set for the cruise!
