Animation Academy

Fun idea to bind them as a coffee table book. Any artists out there know how I can "set" the pencil so it doesn't smear?

FYI if you go through the art store, you can ask a cashier CM for a rubber band (and even a bag!) to roll it up.

For anyone with smaller children, it's an auditorium style room (at DHS it's a flat-floored classroom with desks (that are difficult for children IMO) and you get a sort of hand-held easel that you put the paper on. They are strict about people being quiet, so if your child starts making a fuss, if they dont' quiet down you'll be asked to leave.

For those with children like my son, who got stressed about not being able to follow the directions, make sure they know that they can draw *whatever they would like*! For a year there, DS happily drew scenes of "monsters and aliens", because he had gotten old enough to realize that he wasn't following along and it wasn't looking right, but he was still too young to keep on trying. I like those monsters and aliens pictures that he drew. :goodvibes
