animal kingdom to downtown disney?

We will be visiting the animal kingdom for the day and then would like to go to a restaurant in downtown disney. We will be using the bus system while at disney.
Is there a bus that goes from the animal kingdom to downtown disney? How would we get there? Thanks so much

There are no buses that go from any theme park directly to Downtown Disney.

You can take a bus to any resort and then transfer to a bus to Downtown Disney.

No buses from the parks to DTD. You would have to go from the park to a resort and then bus (or boat if you would bus to POR, POFQ - also Key West and SSR have boat service to DTD) to DTD from a resort.

If it was me, I would take the bus to AKL and then transfer to the DTD bus there.

I do it at least twice per trip and it is the quickest way to get to DTD. I always end my evening at a resort before I return to DTD and then POR.
