We are going to Animal Kingdom on Fri, Oct 17th, early entry. We have character breakfast at 10:30. What should we do first?
Does anyone know the times of the Lion King show? Tarzan?
Have been before but want to get opions since its been 2 years?
Thanks!!!!

Here's a great website for show schedules in WDW. It gets updated every week and it is pretty accurate:
WDW Live Entertainment Just click on the Animal Kingdom Tab at the top of the page for this week's showtimes.

I can't find my Times Guide from last week (still unpacking) but I would suggest doing Kilamanjaro Safari first, and if you have kids, the Character Greetings.

Doing the safari early is a very good idea. The animals are let out of there pens at about seven and are fed and stretching their legs early in the morning.

I'd do Kilamanjaro Safari first, followed by It's Tough to Be a Bug at the Tree of Life. If Festival of the Lion King is back in business, I'd try for that next. If you still have time, trot over the Dinosaur (it's right next to the Breakfastasaurus).

pigelet, we have a PS at Donald's at 10:30 on Oct. 17th too! We're also from Morristown, NJ (though currently living in DC while my fiancé is in med school) so that's pretty close to you guys. We're planning to get there for EE, go to the safari first, then Primeval Whirl, Tric. Spin, Dinosaur, then we're just gonna wait for our PS time. Of course, I'll be almost 20 weeks pregnant then so we have to factor in time to use every bathroom I see, stop and get a snack since I'll never last till 10:30 without food, plus walk at a 1 year olds pace since the baby is already making me lose my breath easily. So you guys can probably get more done than we will.

Justhat: What a small world, huh? Where in Mo-town do you live? Our neighbor who is coming w/us is also pregnant, 12 weeks then. We will be traveling with 4 kids...7, 2 who are 5 and a 3 year old so I don't know how fast we'll be moving.

I hope to get there at 8 a.m. We missed the Lion King show last time so don't want to miss it this time since its one of my favorites. The link given to me does not have times of shows, just the parade time.

Getting soooo excited. 10 more days....

We used to live in the condos close to the hospital until we moved to DC in the summer of 2002. My mom still lives off of James St., but she's moving to Montville soon, since we've all moved out and it's closer to her job. We can't wait to be able to move back though, as much as we like living in DC, we want a less urban setting for our family.

We really want to see the Lion King show too, since the last time we saw it was the 1st show of the day on January 3rd and it was so cold it wasn't that enjoyable. The time of that show was 9:50, but of course things could have changed. The schedule we have from January 1-4 says Lion King times are 9:50, 11, 12, 1, 2:15, 3:30, 4:45 and 5:45. Tarzan times were 10:45, 12, 1:45, and 3:15. Since the park closed at 6 then, I'm guessing that the 5:45 show would be cut for October, but hopefully the rest of the times are similar so you can sort of plan out your day. Hope that helps and maybe we'll see you at Donald's!
