Ok....I absoloutly love animals ( I'm 13 ) and I want to be a zoologist when I am older so, animal kingdom is the perfect place for me!! When we were there in september we went there one day. I loved eveything about it and wished we could have stayed longer. We came at like 8 and left at 1! My dad is not an animal person and he couldn't stand the smell of them! We are going back to WDW in June and I want to go back to AK SOOOO bad, but my dad doesn't want to!!!!!!! Is there anything to do in Animal Kingdom that doesn't have to do with animals for my dad! Lol...I know, It's a crazy question! Thanks for you help!

Kali River Rapids....Is about all I can think of....

Can't you get him just to spend a little time there....It seems that if it is that important to you he would be ok with spending sometime there....

Good Luck!!!

I can't imagine going to Disney World and missing AK! I love it too! Do you think maybe your mother could go there with you while the rest of the family does something that they would prefer? Hope it works out for you!

Groosch! I'd think he'd want to spend some time thar.

Bugs Life is a virtual smell only show....hanging around harumbe (sp?)....Dino land/Dinosaur are basically oder free....but honestly, I've never really noticed strong animal smells thar b4.

Hope it works out fer yer!

Hi Froggy 12,

My daughter will be 13 this year and also wants to be a zoologist. Cool! We really enjoyed Animal Kingdom and are looking forward to it again this June. We loved the river ride (can't remember what it was called) and the Dinosaur Ride (the scary one). Also loved the Bugs Life show. Animal Kingdom is a neat place so I hope your dad will be willing to stay longer this year. :bounce:

If Dad likes the shows, there is before mentioned Legend of the Lion King, also Tarzan Rocks. Dinosaur ride would be great. Does he like to take photographs? Lot's of opportunity for pictures. Conservation station is a nice place to cool off. My daughter had a chance to watch a surgery performed on a bird. She stayed stuck to the window for 45 minutes.
