Animal Kingdom parking lot question

Does anyone know what time the parking lot opens at Animal Kingdom? We have 8 AM tusker house breakfast resv. and the park doesn't open until 8 that moring. We need time to park and get to Tusker House and I read the lot does not open until 15 mins before the park...seems wrong.

You can get in early for breakfast. You will be stopped, then tell them you have ressies at Tusker House. When you get to the main entrance, they will ask for your name and ressie # before they let you in.

They will open the parking lots at 7:45am. Don't worry about rushing, they will still seat you even if you are a few minutes late. It is fun to watch everyone getting out of their cars to ask why they can't get into the parking lot, afterall they have reservations (lol).
