As the title states one of the main reasons I go to the Animal Kingdom park is to get the St.Louis style ribs that thank goodness can be found at Beastly Kiosk since Flame Tree BBQ is closed right now. When I do tell people that I do get the you do know your going to an Animal Park to eat ribs. My answer is yep.

Its still funny, even thou I think your serious. Flame tree bbq has decent ribs by current Disney food standards.

Where are you from?

Best Ribs I have ever had the pleasure of eating where from Charleston, SC. Little hole in wall which should more then likely been shut down by health department. lol

Trust me I know their only ok ribs as I have eaten my far share of ribs over the years, but it's something I always have to have when I come to Disney and as I look at it, decent ribs are better then no ribs.

Amen to that. I liked the don't feed the animals sign too. lol

Seating location is great if you sit close to the water.

where did you eat them? I ask because I live in Charleston :) We do have a lot of great BBQ places to eat here, although I have family members that do great ribs too.

Totally agree with the ribs at Fairfax Fare. And the chicken is like a Perdue chicken breast on steroids - it's very big. I find that I have to plan a long time to get the food and then to eat since I have to take my time. Definitely not a quick meal for me. While I'm chowing on my meal, the husband is having the hot dog topped with enough BBQ pork to make a sandwich by itself. Yeah, a good meal.

You're not alone. I used to hop to HS just for Turkey Leg. They had the best back then. Wonder how many people out there make special trip to a park for a specific food....

I love Flame tree, but I think it is closed this trip for us. Glad they have ribs at HS... I did not know that.

Thank You! I am not sure how I missed this... If only they had this in MK as well...

I've been staying at GF and move over for my last 4 nights to CR and if MK had ribs I would be in so much trouble as I would be over there for either lunch or dinner every day eating them.

I go to Epcot for Test Track and Mission Space, but that's only because I get a ham and swiss croissant in France and funnel cake in America and Hollywood Studio's for Star Tours and now the BBQ ribs at Fairfax Fare. On every trip to WDW I always get these.

That sounds so good...

I thought this was predictive text that should have read "just for the rides" until I thought about Flame Tree Barbeque combo. Totally with you on this one.

I went to HS just to get a carrot cake cookie (Jan. 2015).

(And, walked from WS at Epcot to HS - to rationalize the calories.... Was almost disappointed that Sweet Treats now has the ccc - I didn't have to go to Writer's Stop.)

The ribs at Beastly Kiosk were great (in Jan. also, when FTBBQ was closed). Its almost better than having Flame Tree open because the seating area (for Flame Tree, which is close to Beastly) is nearly empty, and still nice views (and all the condiments etc.). Quietest meal I had the whole trip.
