Let me begin by saying that AK is not one of my favorite parks in WDW.. I always go - because there are certain aspects that I enjoy - but if I was forced to choose one park to skip, AK would be the one..

Of course during our '06 trip with my family and DGD, we saw and did everything there was to do there so that my DGD would get the full experience..:lovestruc (On her first trip to WDW she was 2 weeks shy of turning 3, so there's a lot of things she didn't remember when we went back in 2006..)

I always keep a journal when I travel, so I do have some comments and thoughts jotted down from AK, but definitely not enough for the number of photos/pages I plan on doing..

Is there someplace specific where you have found good AK titles or comments? Or perhaps some you would like to share yourself? I'll probably be starting those pages the beginning of next week, so any help would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks! :goodvibes

you could just do titles of each country ---
camp mickey & minnie
rides you went on
the shows , Lion King and Nemo

or just be really simple and say "our day at animal kingdom" and then add your photos and journalling.

I have seen several people use "Natazu" (you'd have to check the spelling on that), go general "Animal Kingdom", what about "Where the Wild Things Are", "Let's Get Wild" or "Go Wild"...that's all I've got for now. I can keep thinking on it!!

Cast Members at DAK love teaching about conservation and ways to help protect the environment... maybe if you have some pictures to support that you could use Conservation, Recycling, and other such things.

Oh, and another fun thing to do is use the Swahili version of words for the animals on safari: Elephant = Tembo, Lion = Simba, Cheetah = Duma, Giraffe = Twiga, Zebra = Punda Milia, Rhino = Kifaru, Hippo = Kiboko, Ostrich = Mbuni

Oh, and hello is Jambo in Africa! :) And in Asia, their greeting is Namaste.

Thanks to all for the replies.. So sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but I'm in major scrapbook mode and just haven't had a lot of time to spend on the computer..

to me Animal Kingdom screams

"Hakuna Matata"... it means no worries....

I loved these suggestions and used them all! :thumbsup2 Tomorrow I will be finishing up the last of my Animal Kingdom pages and then will move on to another one of the parks.. I haven't decided which one yet - or maybe I'll start MVMCP.. Guess I'll have to see what I'm in the mood for when the time comes..

I'm doing something a little differently with these scrapbooks.. Since both my adult DD & I took tons and tons of photos, I've made a great effort to really whittle down my choices to the "best of the best".. If I didn't, it would take me forever to get the books done - not to mention how much it would cost me in paper, page protectors, etc.. The extra photos will go back into the photo file boxes - broken down by catergories (parks; travel; resort; parades; etc.) - and then if my DGD wants to use them for something in the future they will be available to her..:)

Hope everyone else is enjoying their scrapping as much as I am..:goodvibes

I love when I get into scrap mode... so jealous of you right now! And hopefully you share your pages with us, I love seeing everyone's work! :goodvibes
