Animal Kingdom or Universal on Saturday 6/2??

Hi everyone! It has been 7 years since I have been to Florida...we are traveling from AZ and are taking my daughter to the theme parks for 7 days as her 18th birthday and high school graduation gift. I had everything planned out and knew what parks I wanted to go to on each day...now things might need to change though because Disney has opened up extra magic hour mornings to Animal Kingdom to all of their hotel guests (we aren't staying on property, unfortunately!!) So my question is this....on each day of our trip that we are going to Disney the extra magic hours are offered to Animal Kingdom, so it doesn't matter what day we go there as it will already be packed by the time we get in (even though we had planned being at the front gates an hour and a half early!) So if anyone has any insider knowledge on which park (between Animal Kingdom and Universal IOA) might be a LITTLE less crowded on Saturday, your help would be greatly appreciated. We plan on going to these two parks on Saturday 6/2 and Sunday 6/3. Thanks so much!!

Personally I would always choose Universal over Disney if I only have 1 day. I think they will be similar in crowd level so its a coin flip.

I loathe Universal. Would always choose Animal Kingdom over IOA. I find Disney is more capable of handling crowds than Universal.

If it makes a difference, Universal will be closing early on 6/2 for the Orlando informer meetup.

You might want to look into buying tickets for the Meetup if you don't already have universal tickets. If you don't mind being there from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am, it's a great deal

If you think you might want to do the Meetup, decide quickly. They're only selling tickets for 3 more days.
