Animal Kingdom or Not?????

I love AK and would definitely schedule time for it. AK has consistently offered me some of my favorite WDW surprises. And if you're worried about finding time to relax, you'll be happy to know that most of the "big" things in AK can be done in half a day.

Ak is a beautiful park!! I disagree that it's a half day park. Kick back and enjoy. There is so much to do and enjoy. Please do a little more research on this part of DW

Me too! There is a full day of enjoyment to be had at AK. Follow Evil Genuis's advice: Take your time! WDW isn't all about the "top" attractions. Just being in the park is fun!

We Love AK. I don't think you should miss it, even if you only go until 2 or three and rest in the afternoon/evening. There are lots of great tips here for how to do the park in half a day.
If we had to skip a park it would be MGM...but that's just us.

We're a family of five and would be crushed to miss animal kingdom!!! Magic Kingdom first, Animal Kingdom, second, MGM third, then Epcot:

Epcot isn't much fun for us...we like test track, crainium command, body wars, but really not interested in much else. the foreign country areas are pretty but we just kind of wander through them....

We love the safari, the Jammin Jungle Parade, Dinosaur, Kali River Rapids, Everest, Tough to be a Bug, Festival of the Lion King.................

Our family of 5 - will be going to Disney for the first time in October. I've been visiting the boards and trying to learn as much as possible from all the veterans!! You've been a great help!!

That being said, as of late, we are wondering if we should forgo going to Animal Kingdom so we can have a rest day in the middle of our week?

Our schedule is pretty tight with alot of time at MK. Animal Kingdom just doesn't seem like a top priority??????

We thought this trip would be our one and only, but I know from all my research, we'll be back.

What do you think??? Would we be missing alot?

We are an animal loving family, so AK is a must do for us. :thumbsup2 We went to AK twice on our trip in 04. Can't wait to go back. Looking at the photos we took, you'd think we went on a real African safari. We enjoyed AK and are excited about it again.

I really enjoy AK, too. It's definitely worth doing! We usually cram it into a half day, but that's because its usually hot when we go. This December we'll make it a full day!
