We will be staying at the AKL for the first time. I would appreciate suggestions on best views of the Savannah and other information about experience at the AKL.

We love AKL! We stayed in a standard savannah view room. It was on the 3rd floor, Zebra Trail, on the Arusha savannah. There were giraffes, zebra, ankole cattle, and other animals and birds. It was great to sit on the balcony and watch them. Have fun.

You will love AKL! We were there for the first time last month and lost our hearts to this beautiful hotel. Make sure you try the breakfast buffet at Boma. It is awesome. By far the best breakfast buffet we have ever had. And walking out to Arusha Rock at night was really special. Have a great trip!

We stayed at AKL the last two years and we loved it. One thing we did for fun was the Hidden Mickey "hunt". At front desk they had a list of 17 hidden mickey's throught the resort, some were easy to find others rather difficult. There was a little surprise when you got done and turned it in. A good way to spend a rainy afternoon.
