This may be a silly question, but...is Animal Kingdom Lodge within walking distance to Disney's Animal Kingdom? And if so, how long a walk to get to the theme park?

Ten minutes, maybe? Due to there being a stop sign or two and a traffic light in between. Anyway, very short!

How long would it take if we are parked at AK to get to AKL. Google maps is showing some wonky path and saying like 9 minutes.

It depends on whether you can turn right onto Osceola Parkway or not - that right turn might be blocked off for buses only. I think you still have to cross under the overpass, take a left, then make a U-turn to get back past AK to AKL, based on something I read recently. When we were there in January, we rode the bus, so I can't remember whether cars could go the same route or not.
