While I enjoy all three restaurants, Sanaa is my favorite. The food and service at Sanaa have always been great.

For breakfast or dinner, I'd choose Boma; for lunch I'd choose Sanaa.
I've eaten at Jiko and did not care for it.

DH and I love all of the restaurants at AKL and think they are the best on property (not including V&A). You can't go wrong with any of them (in our opinion) but in order of preference I would recommend Jiko followed by Sanaa and then Boma (it can get incredibly loud and busy here which for us can distract from the experience). Enjoy!!!

Thanks everyone! Sounds like there's not a bad place to eat at AKL. I think we're going with Sanaa this trip and then will try Boma or Jiko in the fall. I'm assuming you can still get the zebra domes at the Mara too, right?

Yes you can! If you don't see them, just ask a CM, as they may not have re-stocked quite yet.

We are headed to WDW in March - with just a party of 2, seems like I've been able to get a reservation just about anywhere . Anyway, I've never tried any of the restaurants at AKL, but looks like I can score a reservation at any of them. Any suggestions on which one to pick or which is your favorite?

You could honestly close your eyes and pick one and you won't be disappointed!

They are all equally fantastic, they just offer different things.
Choose Jiko if you are in the mood for something a little fancier.
Choose Sanaa if you are looking for theming (& go for an early ADR & ask to be seated by the window)
Choose Boma if you are looking for a wide variety

Haven't been to Jiko (yet) but have eaten at both Sanaa and Boma.

I agree with most of the above posters, bread service at Sanaa!! My meal there a couple years ago was the best I've ever had on property. You can't go wrong with either though - Boma is an excellent buffet with something for everyone.

Jiko is my favourite WDW restaurant outside of Victoria & Albert's.

I think you'll love it. We've eaten at all three -- never a bad experience -- never. Jiko is definitely our favorite, though. Used to be a date night ADR for DH and I, but we made the mistake of taking the kids once a couple of years ago (they were 8 and 10) -- now they all but DEMAND to go every trip!

Love Jiko, always a top notch dining experience in a beautiful setting. Enjoy Sanaa, more casual, delicious tomato soup, salads and butter chicken. And Boma, soup, soup, and more delicious soups! It's the only buffet we still do from time to time, dinner only! Though it's all you can eat, it's hard to do it justice! Though it is loud and boisterous!

Your decision really depends on what type of dining experience you want to have but each locale has something wonderful to offer.

We would pick Sanaa. Nothing beats that Naan bread for us!
