<b>These two are taken from the viewing area that is on the left side of the Lobby after you walk through it...This is a sunken room that has glass windows and you can walk out on the observation deck...Usually there is a Cast Member who is there and will answer questions for you!</b>

Those are great pictures! We tried to take many of the same pictures....but at night with a disposable camera! Not good! Dh actually asked me...."where is that" I'm like Helloo you stayed there! Men!

Thanks for sharing them... Ia m going to link my mom to this page so she can see what the resort looks like in the light! LOL

Very cool pics Beanie!!!!!! I love AKL...haven't slept there but we meandered around there in December and it was just so relaxing. The rooms look small...did they feel small???

No, the rooms didn't feel small at all!! Actually DH was saying that they feel a bit bigger than Wilderness Lodge rooms! I thought so as well...it seemed like it anyway!

I've been enjoying your pictures Beanie...I hope we can stay there in October...all depends on what code rates are available. If I can get it for around $180 I'm going to surprise my DD & DGD with a stay there, if not we'll be at CBR....that's unless I change my mind yet again by October.

Beanie, oh, my goodness! I want to go back to the AKL now that I have viewed your wonderful photos. You brought back fond memories. Thanks so much for posting them. I hope you had a wonderful vacation.

Beanie. These photos are also great. Now I want to go back to AKL and req 2nd or 3rd flr. It just takes me back on our Jan/2002 trip. If only we could financially sneak up there for 3 nights .
