Animal Kingdom Lodge - Jambo House Villas/ studios?

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has been in a Jambo house/Value Studio Villa. A few questions also: Do they have a full size balcony? Also, Can you use the pool at the other villas? It will just be for me this time as I am going for a few days to visit good friends in the Orlando area. I have always stayed at the Beach Club or Swan before and thought this might be a fun change. They have a balcony the full width of the studio. You can use the pool at Jambo House or Kidani Village. If you are a DVC member with a valid DVC member card staying on your own points, you may be able to pool hop to some resort pools (at some pool hopping is not permitted). If you are renting points or paying cash, you are not a member staying on your own points and cannot pool hop to other resorts. Your friends in Orlando will not be able to swim with you at AKV/AKL unless they are on your reservation.
