We've eaten at Sanaa, Jiko, and Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and drank at Victoria Falls Lounge. We've never stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge but the theming attracted us. But I'll admit that I did not dine there voluntarily ... at first. The Lounge is interesting but sort of along a hallway, so that took away from the experience for me. Boma was our first dining experience there. It's a buffet which offers some "regular" food options, so I came away ok with it. But don't care if I ever go back. Too hectic for dinner. Jiko and Sanaa are a different story. Jiko was for dinner. Very tasty meat dishes. At Sanaa (lunch) I don't recall eating anything that I recognized but it was all tasty and dining there and at Jiko were terrific experiences. Try the Indian-style bread service at Sanaa. Both were favorites at WDW (though must drive or take a bus
). I never would have predicted saying that. So as my wife says ... be adventurous, you're on vacation, try it.
