Hi, I have booked 2x Deluxe Savannah View Rooms for 11 nights end of Nov to start of Dec and I was wondering how much extra it would cost from the rooms I currently have, to the Concierge level rooms per night? I can't see any information on the Disney World UK site and they don't have that as a booking option.

By the way have you stayed concierge and is it worth it?

If you can afford it, then it's definitely worth it! But I'm not sure what the difference in price is now.

Well I called Disney UK (got some one from Disney USA LOL) and was told they have no Concierge rooms for the dates I am staying but I was welcome to keep trying see if any become available. I ask what the difference would be and she couldn't tell me, so I asked what the daily rate with Ultimate Ticket and Dining Plan would be and she couldn't tell me. Only thing she could tell me was the daily rate of a Concierge room only, not very helpful.

So I am still none the wiser as to what it would cost, but I can't imagine it adding any more than £1k maximum to the total price of the holiday.

You really should be able to book these things via the web site, can't be that hard to program in.

We thoroughly enjoyed the concierge at AKL. Found the breakfast offerings to be convenient on our way out to the parks.

This isn't something I *have* to do each trip, but it does make for an enjoyable stay!

If you don't have any luck booking it in advance you can always ask at check in...I tried for months once to book AKL concierge for a 3 night stay and was told at least 30 times that no rooms were available....when we went to check in I asked if it would be possible to upgrade to concierge, they checked, said it was no problem if we were willing to pay an additional $70//day (this was in 2002)...we were and it was superb....well worth the additional cost.

However since you need 2 rooms for 11 days it may be less likely that they could accomodate you for the entire stay....but it never hurts to ask.

Although I have to say....doing concierge and the dining plan would be overkill for me...we ate a nice breakfast in the lounge each AM...had a lovely late lunch in the parks each day and then we nibbled on the evening offerings in the lounge (especially the desserts...they were so fine!!) and if we had eaten anymore I think we would have died!!

You might also inquire about getting concierge for part of your stay if it is not available for the entire time....the rooms on the 5th floor are sometimes concierge, sometimes not...so you might not even have to move rooms.
