Animal Kingdom Lodge Binoculars

I don't know anything about Binoculars - but we do have a night vision monocular we are taking for an Animal Kingdom Jambo stay. Does anyone have a suggestion for the recommended "power" to get for a pair of daytime binoculars to more enjoy our savanna view? Thanks!

I'm a bird watcher, and just returned from Animal Kingdom Lodge. I used my 8X35 binoculars and had great views of the animals.
